Student Activities

Events Overview Table

As an undergraduate, a graduate student, or a professional in a postdoctoral fellowship, be sure to plan to attend the student functions at the SETAC North America 28 th Annual Meeting! Students are an important component of SETAC, and these events give all students an opportunity to exchange ideas and talk with peers from other research facilities. These events are informal, interactive, and inexpensive - we include the cost in your registration. We look forward to seeing you in Milwaukee!

Here are some things you don’t want to miss!

GET INVOLVED!

Help us obtain items for the 8 th Annual Silent Auction. This is a fund-raising event to benefit the Student Activities/Student Members. The auction begins during the reception on Sunday evening and ends at 6 p.m. during the poster social on Tuesday. You can also volunteer to help us with the auction! Contact Cindy Howard (howardc@uhcl.edu), Tisha King Heiden ( tckingheiden@wisc.edu), and Teresa Norberg-King (Norberg-king.teresa@epa.gov) to donate your items. We have a form for donations on the webpage page HERE.

Check out the Student Council Booth! General student messages will be found here, so when you arrive check this out to find out when and where events are happening!

Be sure to stop by the Student Activities Committee (SAC) Meeting! We’d love to have you join us at the SAC meeting to brainstorm about student activities for the annual meeting and beyond. The meeting is scheduled for Sunday 11 Nov. from 9am – 11am in room 103B.
